The R41Z module enables Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread and Zigbee* support to the Qualcomm Dakota series WiFi routers.
The addition of the R41Z to the DK07 home router opens a host of new connectivity options for applications such as home automation, health and fitness accessories, smart lighting and more. With full support from Rigado, Qualcomm and NXP the R41Z module works seamlessly with the Qualcomm SDK to provide the low power wireless stacks and coexistence support with WiFi.
The R41Z-DK07 evaluation board simply plugs into the expansion connectors on the DK-07 reference board, with no additional hardware required. The modules are preloaded with the appropriate connectivity firmware and the software for the Dakota is already embedded in the Dakota SDK.
When you are ready to go to production, please contact Rigado at Contact Us to get a copy of the latest R41Z firmware to load onto the modules or arrange to have them pre-loaded by Rigado.
