The Cascade IoT Gateway is included as part of our Edge-as-a-Service solution and offers a powerful and cost-effective edge network for large-scale, low-power wireless deployments. It provides Enterprise IoT project and product teams with flexible edge computing power, a robust containerized application environment, and a wide variety of wireless device connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5, LTE, & Wi-Fi.
Cascade is a fully-managed, enterprise-grade IoT gateway that utilizes the Rigado Edge Connect Platform to:
New applications can be deployed in the field as new use cases emerge. Rigado Edge Direct ensures reliability and security of the complete solution.
Cascade gateways utilize the Nordic nRF52840 SoC and include a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) and Power Amplifier (PA) to maximize range in any environment – achieving 2-4 times the range of a typical BLE collector. A single Cascade gateway can manage hundreds or even thousands of Bluetooth end devices.
That means increased signal reliability compared to typical IoT gateways and better and more consistent coverage with fewer gateways, minimizing development and deployment time and cost.
Cascade gateways make it easy to get to a reliable, production-ready pilot:
